Being drafted in the 19th round of the Major League Baseball Amateur draft is hardly a promising start to a professional career.
However, Burke Badenhop, a Perrysburg, Ohio, native and 2005 graduate of BGSU, is proving the majors are where he belongs.
"Being able to play in the majors is a pretty surreal feeling," Burke said.

Last Sunday was the 2008 Weekend Shootout at Wayne State. It featured area high school basketball teams scrimmaging head-to-head against each other over the course of two hot summer days.
The ironic part of the event was that there was no prize. There was no goal.
